4.5 Magnitude Earthquake in Dominican Republic

Earthquake shook several provinces of the Dominican Republic around 8:40 in the morning of this Thursday and that, according to the Geological Survey of the United States, had a magnitude of 4.5 degrees.

The earthquake occurred 36 kilometers from San Pedro de Macorís and at a depth of 16 kilometers. In addition to the National District and the province of Santo Domingo, users of social networks report that the quake was felt in San Cristobal, San Pedro de Macoris, San Francisco de Macoris, in the province of Duarte, and La Vega.
