A Dominican wanted for murder in Boston, USA arrested in the DR

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – Officials of the National Directorate of Drug Control (DNCD) with the support of Federal Agents (US. Marshall) of the United States, coordinated by members of the Public Ministry, arrested a Dominican in the National District accused of murder in the Boston city.

William Aleise Soto, aka Joe or William Sánchez, 46, was arrested in the middle of a search and chase operation on Pelona Street, block G, residential Colinas del Seminario in the Los Ríos sector.

As explained in a note, an order issued by the Dominican Supreme Court of Justice was issued against the accused, following a request for extradition by the United States, a country that requires him to prosecute him before the High Court of First Instance of the City of Boston, Suffolk County, which accuses him of a murder.

He is also charged with charges of aggression against another man and carrying an illegal firearm, in violation of the Sections of the Code of the United States of America.

“The Dominican was wanted in the country for several months and his capture is the result of the expansion in the work of combat and persecution of transnational crime,” notes the note.

The Dominican authorities have arrested in the last five months at least 40 foreigners and Dominicans who have been deported and extradited from the Dominican Republic to other countries for having issues pending with justice.
