Antonio Marte promotes the manager of Conatra to direct the Intrant

Santo Domingo, DR.

The senator-elect for the PRM for Santiago Rodríguez and president of the National Council of Transport Organizations (CONATRA) promotes one of his pupils and secretary general of the driver union, Rafael Ernesto Arias Ramírez, to head the National Institute of Transit and Land Transport (Intrant), in the new Government of Luís Abinader.

Marte would be managing the appointment Arias Ramírez before the president-elect Abinader, who is also a current deputy for the PRM in Elías Piña.

In his profile of the Chamber of Deputies, he highlights that Arias Ramírez, since 2004 and the date, has served as general manager of Conatra and treasurer of the COOPNAEMTRA Cooperative.

The efforts and ties that the president of CONATRA would be making of a man linked to transport at the head of the official body that regulates transport policy in the country, is not well regarded by some sectors, considering that he would become a judge and party.

Marte has even called a radio and television program pondering the qualities of its protégé to direct INTRANT.

“If Luís (Abinader) designates Rafael Arias as director of the Intrant, he will solve the country’s problem in the transport sector, because he is a non-conflictive person, of which all the unions, from Fenatrano, Conatra … all ; They love Rafael Arias because he is a man who never argues with anyone, “said Marte.

The president of Conatra said, in addition, that the deputy for Elías Piña is a technician in the transport sector and, according to what he said, no longer belongs to the Conatra directive.
