Bachatero Willy Lapache accused in Florida of 56 charges for alleged sexual abuse of daughter for four years

NEW YORK. – The well-known Dominican bachatero and merenguero Willy LapacheEl Jefe” (Williams Polanco Díaz) based in Florida, was arrested and charged on February 26 with 56 charges for alleged sexual abuse of his daughter for four years, since the minor was 12 until he turned 16.

The accusation, against the bachatero of 58 years of age, was prosecuted in the office of the prosecutor of the Osceola County in Florida Aramis D. Ayala, who has not issued an official statement on the judicial status of Lapache.

But the specialized site “Busted News” confirmed the arrest and charges but did not detail the alleged facts.

It is reported that he remains in prison at the state state jail.

He said the bachatero was born on May 21, 1961 and is charged with the 56 charges, specifying the articles of the United States Criminal Code, allegedly violated by the artist with the alleged sexual abuse.

The media also published the photo of the police record of Lapache.

Calls made last night by this reporter to those close to the bachatero, were not answered, but it was said that Lapache moved from El Bronx to Florida, where he has been residing for several years.

It is unknown where the alleged sexual abuse occurred that Lapache is accused of.

In his Linkedin profile, Lapache reports that he is a musician, composer, arranger, sound engineer and music producer.

He has been in music for 28 years, and settled first in Brooklyn and then in The Bronx.

Lapache, who created the Imperio Music company, from which he has worked with renowned figures of different genres, including the urban one, has said that it is the best profession that God has given him.

In an interview in 2017, he said that the most important thing for him is to maintain respect for everyone.

He has traveled to numerous countries in the world.

He debuted in 1995 at the restaurant “Casa Quisqueya”, along with Anthony Santos, Luis Vargas, Teodoro Reyes and Raulín Rodríguez.

He studied sound engineering and has made productions for artists named for different countries, in what is known as a music producer.
