SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. – Authorities arrested the wanted drug trafficker César Emilio Peralta, “Cesar El Abusador” in the city of Cartagena, who was wanted to lead a criminal network with links at international level.
The director of the National Police, Major General Ney Aldrín Bautista Almonte, had reported Monday that fugitive drug trafficker César Emilio Peralta (El Abusador) would soon be caught.
On August 20, the authorities mobilized 700 military, police and career prosecutors in an offensive against César’s “El Abusador” empire, who according to the file against him is accused of leading the most powerful drug trafficking network in the country.
The authorities have arrested 17 people linked to César el Abusador, including his sentimental partner Marisol Franco, who have been imposed coercive measures, as well as periodic filing, house arrest, impediment to leave the country and financial guarantee for different amounts and three of those involved were extradited to the United States.
