The urban music interpreter Leury José Tejeda Brito, better known as “Chimbala” is enjoying one of the best moments of his career, with a year full of events and international presentations that consolidate him as one of the most successful exponents of its kind .
Throughout the month of March and part of April the artist sold out a tour of presentations in several European countries, such as Spain, Italy, Germany and Switzerland, bringing all the Caribbean heat to these cold waters.
Also, was Santiago de Chile for a week, where the interpreter of “Túmbala”, “Pocotó” and “Tan jealous”, among others enjoys great popularity. He recently became the first Dominican urban artist to bring his music to Ecuador with two concerts at home.
However, the itinerary of “Chimaba” does not stop there, and already in August it has to travel to Colombia, then return to Europe and Chile. While he is negotiating a series of concerts in the United States.

The interpreter also attributes his success to his team composed of Jean Carlos Peña, his manager; DJ Manuel Mejía; the chorister Manuel Pimentel, his audiovisual director, Freddy García and his assistant Juan Estévez.
The artist released “El boom”, a contagious theme of his authorship, in which he combines bachata with dembow and was produced by B-One. In addition, it has an audiovisual that was shot in Haina, under the production of Freddy Graph.
In recent months “Tu pequeñito”, as the artist is also known, has opted for these new colors, which has given good results internationally.
After having recorded the remix of “Maniquí” with Farruko, he is already working with a new collaboration with the Puerto Rican, and others with his colleagues from the “patio”, Bulin 47 and El Kita.
This year “Chimbala” will also debut at the cinema, with his character “El policía”, in the movie “Super fireman” by Fausto Mata.
