Elvis Martínez does not fall on hook; He says that “El Camarón” is his top competition

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – Singer Elvis Martínez ruled out of popular festivities after reaching great stages like United Palace, where he celebrated his 20-year career and the Great Theater of the Cibao.

“I will continue doing all my normal activities, I understand that all artists have reached a stage of taking our music to other stages. It is normal. All that, for me, stepping on scenarios like this, taking the bachata to others like the ones I have visited like the Grand Theater of the Cibao being the first solo bachatero to do it, is something very special, ”he said.

The artist says that music is not for a type of stage, but for people.

Immersed in a new album that will have 12 songs, including two reggaetons, he said he does not know if he will be at the concert of Romeo Santos, but that his album “Utopia” will go down in history for making the different bachata seals embodied in this production.

Not hooked

The artist, in the framework of his first concert in Hard Rock Live on September 6, said that his music has not entered into crisis in 20 years of career because he is focused on working and overcoming his previous works.

“My maximum competition is Elvis Martínez, El Camarón, El Jefe. I value and applaud the work of my colleagues, it is an extraordinary job, and I think that those people who focus on the work of others have no other way but to reduce their own growth. I focus on overcoming what I do, that is my own competence, ”he said.

He said he listens to all his colleagues, who likes them all. “Each one deserves respect and each one has done an effort and a job and has achieved important results.”

Elvis Martínez will perform on September 6 at Hard Rock Live at 10:00 at night, under the production of Evelio Herrera.
