Santo Domingo.– The former Superintendent of Electricity, César Prieto took his own life this Tuesday.
Police information shows that Prieto committed suicide by shooting himself in the head at his residence, located in the Piantini sector.
Héctor Olivo, spokesman for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), an organization in which he was a member, confirmed the information to the newspaper elCaribe.
“We are all shocked by this news, there is an internal chat (in the PLD) and everyone is regretting that and especially highlighting the pleasant, pleasant way and the sharing of César,” said Olivo.
He expressed that the leadership of the purple party has found this suicide strange because among the feelings that characterized Prieto was joy.
Prieto is the husband of the leader and deputy of the Dominican Liberation Party, Sandra Abinader.
Prieto was undersecretary of the Dominican Liberation Party and a member of the Central Committee of that organization, he had served as director of the Social Plan of the Presidency.
