Providence. – Dominican landlord Lisandro Vicario Rodríguez, 22, lightly wounded a 4-year-old girl in the chest, while he cleaned his shotgun upstairs at the residence of his property in Providence.
Police said miraculously, the ammunition came out with a trajectory across the roof bouncing on the floor and then hit the child’s chest.
Rodriguez was charged in criminal court on charges of shooting in a compact area, criminal negligence, assault and trying to hide the commission of a crime.
Investigators said that after hurting the girl, who has not been identified, Rodriguez spoke with her father to ask her not to report him to the police and would have proposed an agreement.

“This guy could have killed her,” Lapatin said, calling Rodriguez extremely reckless.
After the gun went off, Rodriguez went down and took the girl to Roger Williams hospital, Lapatin said.
The child was transferred to Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and released shortly after being treated.
“She suffered a lot of pain, but the wound did not endanger her life,” the police spokesman said.
He explained that after crossing the roof and bouncing on the floor, the ammunition weakened.
