How to update WhatsApp to avoid risks due to cyber attack

WhatsApp announced on Monday that it had discovered a vulnerability that could allow hackers to put a malicious code on a user’s phone by calling a user using WhatsApp.

The application says that it has already corrected the vulnerability, but is encouraging users to update the latest version of the WhatsApp application “as a precaution”.

This way you can update the application on your mobile device.

On an iPhone
Open the App Store and select the updates.

– Select “WhatsApp” and update.

On an Android device
– Open the Play Store and touch the 3 lines in the upper left corner.

– Select “My apps and games” in the menu.

– Select “WhatsApp” and select Update.
