The president-elect, Luis Abinader, responded this Sunday night to the comedian Raymond Pozo for his blessing after announcing earlier that the savings of the institutions will be merged or eliminated will be used to guarantee 100% of the Dominicans health insurance .
The response comes after responding to the announcement made by the president-elect through his Twitter account.
“Blessed be God, thank you, Mr. President, for thinking of those most in need,” Pozo wrote to Abinader.
Given this, the future head of state responded by ensuring that his commitment is to guarantee access to quality health to improve the lives of Dominicans.
“Hello Raymond, our commitment is to guarantee access to quality health care for all Dominicans, and thus improve their quality of life,” he said.
Abinader reported this Sunday that it will include more than 2 million Dominicans in family health insurance, with the savings generated by the elimination of “unnecessary” institutions.
“With the savings resulting from the merger and elimination of unnecessary institutions, as of August 16, we will include 2 million Dominicans in family health insurance. By December of this year 100% of Dominicans will have access to health services ”, said Abinader.
The next Abinader government contemplates the elimination of public entities that it considers “currently unnecessary”.
It also intends to merge some whose functions are duplicated and reduce the size of others that, due to their transformation, would require less bureaucracy.
