Among those features that will soon become a reality in the most used instant messaging app in the world is the “night mode“, already present in its beta version.
This option will allow you to adapt the WhatsApp interface to a dark gray tone. Another function that would arrive are QR codes to add contacts, a feature already present in other platforms such as Twitter.
Specifically, this novelty means a new, easier and faster way to add contacts. The code is scanned with the camera of the device and, once detected, WhatsApp will add that new contact to the address book.
Also, the app will offer the option to synchronize WhatsApp status with Facebook or Instagram stories when publishing content. The stickers, present on WhatsApp for a year, will have its animated version before the end of 2019, since it was leaked months ago that the company was already working on implementing this feature.
The so-called holiday mode, which is that WhatsApp does not show any notice of those chats that have been archived, will be called ignore archived chats, according to the image leaked a few months ago by the WABetaInfo website.
Finally, another feature that will soon reach all users of the app is the unlock by fingerprint, something that could be done in WhatsApp, but not natively. This novelty is already present in the latest beta versions, although at the moment it is not active or visible.
