SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. – The First National District Collegiate Court sentenced tonight to 10 years in prison to the communicator and marketer Pablo Ross for sexual abuse against his stepdaughter, a minor.
Ross must serve his sentence in the Najayo Hombres prison.
The prosecutor of the National District, Rosalba Ramos, considered that the decision against Ross sends a message to “the firm of firmness and the commitment of its management so that these crimes are not repeated or go unpunished.”
“It was worth the effort of the entire team of the @Fiscalia_DN to get a sentence that sends the message to the firm of the firmness and commitment of our management so that these crimes are not repeated or go unpunished!” Ramos said in a Twitter posted on your official account.
Pablo Ross was indicted in September 2018 by the Public Ministry. Since then he was held in pretrial detention.
