The National Meteorology Office predicted this Saturday that the product of a low level trough in the troposphere is located in the eastern portion of the Dominican Republic, the moisture content will gradually increase over the national territory since early hours morning, therefore, are being produced cloudy with scattered rains, and may be moderated locally, especially towards the northeast, southeast, north, central mountain range, the border area and the Greater Santo Domingo.

ONAMET indicated that they will be more noticeable during the course of the afternoon until the early hours of the night.

For Sunday, he announced that the trough will leave enough moisture on local area, which in addition to the local conditions of the national geography, will cause cloudy with scattered rains being moderate at times on the northwest, southeast, northeast, central mountain range and the Great Santo Domingo, mainly during the afternoon and evening.

Meteorology predicted that by Monday, a new trough in the mid troposphere will be providing a lot of humidity and instability on the Dominican territory, for this reason, the occurrence of cloudy weather accompanied by downpours can be moderated to locally strong, isolated thunderstorms and bursts of rain. wind towards the regions: northeast, southeast, northwest, Cordillera Central and the border area.

The National Office of Meteorology (ONAMET), encourages the population to make rational use of water, due to the effects of seasonal drought, which has been accentuated in the regions: northeast, south, southwest and north / northwest.
