Santo Domingo, DR. – The wife of President Luis Abinader, Raquel Arbaje, on assuming the Office of the First Lady on Monday said that her management will be close to the people to be the voice of those who have not had.
During her tour of the Firm, Arbaje thanked God for allowing a transition with the opportunity of service and called to work as a country to face the challenges in this time of pandemic.
She also stated once again “the first ladies, I have always said it, we are all Dominican women and that title is not taken from me out of respect for protocol, but you can call me Raquel.”
Accompanied by a small team, Arbaje got to know the different areas of the offices and advanced to where she wants to project her work.
Her husband, the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, took office last Sunday, with a speech in which he cited the priorities for the start of his term in the midst of the health and economic crisis generated by Covid-19.
