Romeo Santos completes his tour in 15 Town in Dominican Republic

With “Utopía: La Gira del Pueblo”, which he presented for free in 15 provinces of the country by the Telemicro Media Group and Telefónica Viva chaired by Juan Ramón Gómez Díaz, the music star Romeo Santos not only made the dream come true hundreds of thousands of Dominicans, also the King of Bachata fulfilled one of his goals by materializing the fantasy that had lived in his head for eight years.

The longing for “El Chico de las Poesías” came to life when on November 14 “Utopia: The Tour of the People” started with strength in the southern part of the country, specifically in the province of San Cristóbal. Although the announcement of the inauguration show was totally surprise, people overflowed and threw themselves into the street in a civic way just before the imposing stage, located on Father Angel Arias Street, corner March 19, was ready.

In this first installment, in which Romeo announced that each of his presentations would include special guests, people barely assumed the news when urban artist Natti Natasha appeared on the scene, who gave way to Teodoro Reyes, one of the most bachateros Old-school folk and just when the host was about to finish his show, Kiko Rodríguez appeared with “The Kiss I Didn’t Give Him”, theme with which the artist closed the 15 presentations of “Utopia: The People’s Tour”.

Citizenship and public respect prevailed. That was how the singer-songwriter moved to Azua de Compostela a day later and sang at the Las Minitas sports center.

However, the most emotional moment of that night was played by the interpreter of “Take me with you” when he invited the singer Luis Miguel del Amargue, who was at the show as a spectator, to sing. The town shuddered during this delivery. That night Natti Natasha, Teodoro Reyes and Kiko Rodríguez also returned to the stage.

The musical eagle continued by Barahona, on Saturday, November 16, just after landing in Santa Cruz with a show that brought together some 10,000 people who will hardly forget the night in which “The Pearl of the South” became the stage of great artists, such is the case of Romeo himself, Frank Reyes, Natti Natasha and Kiko Rodríguez.

The south remained in suspense until the singer offered the fourth and final performance of his first concert cycle last 17, at the Hermanos Suárez baseball stadium in San Juan de la Maguana.

The public did not lower the intensity even a second after the debut of Alexandra Cabrera, former member of the duo Monchy and Alexandra, in this installment. In addition, Kiko Rodríguez was cheered with his usual participation in the closing.
