San Francisco de Macorís receives new Diagnostic Center

San Francisco de Macorís. The residents of San Francisco de Macorís received a new Diagnosis and Primary Care Center on Tuesday, inaugurated by the President of the Republic Danilo Medina, which will positively impact a population of 297, 452 people living in the area and its surroundings.

The director of the National Health Service (SNS), Chanel Rosa Chupany, reported that it is the 40th Diagnostic Center that is delivered by the Government and that contributes to strengthening the First Level of Care, as well as to positively change the health indicators.

Rosa Chupany, stressed that, directly, the center will benefit 193, 742 people from the nearest communities that are Quita Espuela, Azlo, Hermanas Mirabal, Los Grullones, Las Guazumas, Los Bracitos, Cuaba Centro, La Bajada, Giza, Demajagua, Ramonal, El Cercado and El Madrigal.

He also said that the modern Diagnostic and Primary Care Center is equipped with state-of-the-art technological equipment and with the added value that human resources reside in the province.

The head of the SNS stressed that the newly delivered health infrastructure will offer services gynecological consultation, physiatry, pediatrics, internal medicine, psychology, dentistry, X-rays, sonography and laboratory, which will help the decongestion of the Hospital Regional University San Vicente of Paul.

This Center contributes to strengthen the mission assumed by the State that Dominicans have health facilities where they receive attention, humanized, timely and of quality.
