Sandra Berrocal files suit against Yomel “El Meloso”

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – Television presenter Sandra Leticia Berrocal filed a lawsuit against YomelEl Meloso” and her manager,, for the crime of defamation and injury.

The “Extreme Girl” made public knowledge that the submission is made against the statements expressed by Cristofer Hernández, artistically known as Yomel El Meloso, issued in the Vale for 3 program on November 9.

“I have decided today to file a lawsuit for defamation and insult against these gentlemen before the Eighth Chamber of the Courthouse of the New City,” said the communicator and appointed doctors Wilkins Sánchez Aguavivas and Rusbel Sánchez piña, to take care of submission.

He said that with this legal action he not only seeks to defend his personal and family integrity, but also seeks to punish those who in recent days have tried to stain their dignity with improper and harmful comments

He said that “I also want to avoid behaviors so that any person who has access to the media can launch injurious accusations against a woman without any basis and without evidence with the sole purpose of destroying an image and a stable marriage.”

He explained that he has three children of which two are teenagers and that they are suffering questions from their friends at school and that they are tired of hearing negative comments on the networks as in other media on this subject and that motivated in that boredom has decided empower a specialist and give a strong example in order to take the case to the last consequences.

“On the other hand, I have requested the utmost respect for the judicial procedure initiated, wanting to make clear my confidence in the justice of the Dominican Republic that has to decide on this matter,” he added.

He concluded that, with this submission, he leaves the issue over and that it is the Dominican justice who is responsible for determining the punishment that such crime will deserve.
