Study reveals 35% of children have been victims of bullying in schools

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – A study revealed that 35 percent of children have been victims of harassment or bullying in schools, where 46 percent of this universe does not report it.

The study was conducted by the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Herrera together with the Centro de Psicólogos Unidos, which also showed that only 39.8 percent saw that the harassment diminished after the complaint.

Faced with this problem, both entities launched an initiative to prevent conflict and violence in the school environment that they have been developing since last year.
