SANTO DOMINGO. Singer Anthony Rios died Monday at the age of 68, at a medical center, according to artistic representative Carlos Santos.
Ríos was in a very delicate state of health.
All of Anthony’s discomfort began when he felt very tired on Saturday, February 2, when he arrived in Atlanta (USA), where he would have a presentation that night that could not be celebrated.
The next day, Sunday 3, he boarded a flight to Miami and on Monday 4 he returned to Santo Domingo to enter the health center, said Servio Polonio that time.
The singer-songwriter underwent an open heart surgery in August 2015.

Beginnings in music
From a very young age, Ríos had an inclination to speak, after starting to read the news with the journalist Héctor Julio Hernández, today he lives in Puerto Rico. He says that he did exercises with a pencil in his mouth and spent all day practicing a newscast.
Then he began to take guitar lessons, and singing Trova in Hato Mayor, Joaquín Maxwell, when listening and meeting him, invited him to travel to the capital city to meet Johnny Ventura and be part of the group “El Combo Show”.
