Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – César Emilio Peralta “El Abusador” would have trafficked at least 1,120 kilograms of cocaine to Puerto Rico and the United States, between 2008 and 2017, as stated in the extradition request against him.
Authorities tracked at least three shipments of between 60 and 10 kilograms of cocaine to Puerto Rico in 2013 and according to their conversations, they transported about 20 kilos each week to the neighboring island.
On November 8, 2015, the National Police seized 53 kilograms of cocaine and two of heroin aboard a yacht that belonged to the network run by César Emilio Peralta and whose final destination was Miami. Six people were arrested in the case.
On May 23, 2008, the United States border patrol detected a vessel off the coast between the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. During 2009 the authorities tracked through several people of 150 kilograms of cocaine by that network.
Through other sources 150 kilograms of cocaine were reported between 2009 and 2010. The amounts of each shipment ranged between 25 and 40 kilograms per trip. The last of 2010 was 34 kilograms.
In March 2017, the authorities managed to obtain a recording of Peralta where he details how he had trafficked 20 kilograms of cocaine to Puerto Rico by plane every week. They also obtained recordings of June 2017, in one Peralta described the maritime transfer from the Dominican Republic to Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. In them, the person involved never specified the amounts of narcotics that he trafficked in these operations.

In the case, there are a total of 17 those submitted to justice so far. Three of them have been delivered voluntarily.
César Emilio Peralta remains a fugitive from the authorities without so far having a clue as to his possible whereabouts.
César Emilio Peralta was charged on a first occasion on November 28, 2018 by the Judicial District of Puerto Rico. Then, on April 11 of this year, the Southern District of Florida also issued an extradition request.
Peralta, aka “El Abusador”, is wanted as one of the most important drug traffickers in the Dominican Republic.
