New York. Three months in jail, five years of probation and 100 hours of community work is the sentence received by the driver who ran over the Ecuadorian Jean Paul Guerrero, better known as DJ Jinx Paul, who was a popular broadcaster of Mega 97.9.
The case of the death of DJ Jinx Paul shook the Latino community in New York as it had great popularity. Guerrero was impacted by a vehicle on December 19, 2016 in East New York, Brooklyn.
As much of the cases of this type, the driver of the vehicle identified as Kevin Ozoria
(28) left the scene. A year after the fact that he mourned the spectacle of the Big Apple, Ozoria surrendered to the authorities acknowledging that he was the author of the act.
Although Kevin Ozaria showed up to answer for the incident, the NYPD let him go for lack of evidence. Later, when the authorities confirmed Kevin Ozoria’s relationship with the case, he was placed under arrest and later released on bail.
The sentence of the case, which was scheduled for May 1, was postponed since the defendant was recently facing charges of sexual abuse, charges that Ozoria admitted.
